Description

The compact, encapsulated P78-2000-S non-isolated dc-dc converter series offers 2 A of output current and has been designed to offer a high-performance alternative to linear regulators. Utilizing switching technology, this series is footprint compatible with LM78XX three-terminal linear regulators. Unlike linear regulators, the P78-2000-S dc switching regulator series is extremely efficient up to 95% and does not require a heat sink, making it ideal for applications where board space is at a premium and maximizing energy efficiency is a concern.
